Hi, I am 24 years old, I live in Waterloo and I like to find new things to do all the time. I love to vacation however there are a couple of things keep me from doing it all the time. You guessed it, money and work. So other than that I like to kayak long days downriver and then setup camp under the stars, light a campfire and cook the fish I caught that day. Well usually it is more like setup camp in the rain and eat granola bars, but hey, its fun none the less, right?? Some other things that I would like to learn (some I am currently) are whitewater kayaking, skydiving and rock climbing. I also have a new found interest in mountain hiking. Went to Colorado in July and already have plans for next year! I guess you could say I am very active and have fun doing about anything; sometimes just sitting back with a glass of wine and a movie can hit the spot as well...

Hey, name’s Ryan 25. I am a ex-marine infantry specialist, a real life taker and heart breaker ha ha :D. I am from Waterloo Iowa, I went to Hawkeye Community College for general education, this semester I’m going to UNI as a history major, I want to go into the FBI as a field agent. I just saw your profile on here and wanted to write you and find out more about you; ok that’s a lot of you there. Recently I haven’t been able to go out much and meet anyone new. In November 2003 my dad started getting too sick to go outside and do the family farm and small business. I moved home then and took over the farm and business, well on December 27 he was diagnosed with cancer and he died on April 1, 2004. I have been working about 18 hours a day since then, and going to school. I’m moved out again, I like to live by myself, well except for 2 dogs and 2 cats. Like I said I grew up on a farm and enjoy having pets. Someone else is taking over the farm, so now I just have to go to school, sometimes helping out at home. As you can tell I am very family oriented, friends and loved ones come first. I have my mom left and sister, that would be why I am on here, not a lot of time to get out to meet anyone, also I have severe insomnia so I only sleep about 1-2 hours a night and kill time reading, History Channel, Movies, and surfing the net. I graduated from college last year and took a traveling job. Now I move around a lot and am tired of just sitting in my hotel room. I love the outdoors and trying pretty much anything I haven't done before. I'm currently planning an international trip and an extended hiking trek....

That pretty much explain my favorites things in life. I love grunge music and my favorite bands include: Alice In Chains, Hole, The Screaming Trees, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden and Mad Season. I like to watch WWE Raw because it is just funny and awesome. My favorite wrestler is Edge, even though no one else likes him. The movie Clerks is the best movie ever. I have the movie about memorized and every time I think about it I have to laugh. That is me in a nutshell! (my fav AIC song is Nutshell btw)....
